Contracts Manager

Turfrey are seeking an experienced, highly organised and detail-oriented individual as a Contracts Manager. This full-time role is based in our Wellington office and reports to the Southern Regional Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Office based role
  • Admin support for our commercial Plumbing & Roofing contracts
  • Monthly WIP 'Work in Progress'
  • Monthly payment claims
  • Contract variation loading, tracking, processing and submitting
  • Job folder set-up, Site Specific Safety Plans, Work Safe notifications
  • Support project handovers (including warranty requests, PS3s and contract warranties)
  • Health & Safety administration – organising training, tickets and competency registers
  • Plant and equipment – insurances and tracking
  • Some support for our residential projects may also be required
As this role requires specific skills and understanding, we are ideally looking for someone with QS and/or construction industry experience. In addition, you would need to have:
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, along with the ability to multi-task
  • Confidence with technology - experience working with SimPRO would be an advantage
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and get results whilst maintaining positive relationships
  • Resilience, plus a natural ability to problem-solve in a busy environment
  • Adaptability and an openness to change
  • The ability to be a team player who can roll their sleeves up and pitch in where required
