Landscape Gardener: Part-Timer + Team Leader

Landworx is a Garden Maintenance and Landscape Construction business maintaining both residential and commercial gardens throughout the Waikato region.
We are currently looking for a full-time Team Leader and a part-time gardener to join our landscape garden team.
If you have the following attributes, we would love to hear from you:- Passion for working outdoors, happy to work in all weather
- Confident in basic gardening tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills
- Good communication skills
- Full NZ Drivers license and own transport
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Good level of fitness and physical ability
- Punctual, reliable, with a hardworking attitude
- A quick learner who is keen to skill up
- Take charge of their team. Be confident in assigning tasks to ensure jobs are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Have topiary and hedge trimming experience
- Previous horticulture experience an advantage
We seek to employ a fit, enthusiastic, honest person. This job will suit you if you enjoy working outdoors in a team environment, have some plant knowledge, and are keen to learn.
Daily tasks can include: weeding + tidying garden beds, clearing areas, pruning + shaping, planting + plant care.Elements of this job are physical: raking, lifting, carrying.
Team Leader is a full-time role. Monday - Friday. Usual hours: 7:30am - 3:30pm.Part-time gardener is also 7:30am - 3:30pm. Days can be discussed.
