South Indian Chef (2 positions) - Te Kuiti

Pappadomz-Deli-cozy of South India, Hamilton is looking for two chefs who can cook South Indian dishes. The role is full-time and permanent with a pay of $30-$33 per hour with 32 to 40 hours per week.

Requirements: -

Must have at least three years’ experience cooking South Indian curries and Kerala Paratha
and Dosas
Must be willing to work during weekends/public holidays
Expertise in bulk cooking is an added advantage.

Previous experience in New Zealand is an advantage.

The key responsibilities include: -

Preparation of South Indian curries and Kerala Paratha, Dosas
Maintain high level of food safety and hygiene practice
Train other kitchen staff whenever required.
Ordering stock and maintaining stock for the kitchen
Assisting the head chef with menu planning and food costing

Such other duties assigned from time to time.
