Timber Grader
We are seeking candidates to grade timber and assist with operating our newly installed Bin sorter. These hands-on roles will require you to work within a team, operate machinery to achieve production targets, and maintain quality outputs. You will have experience in structural and/or appearance grading and machine operation.

Both dayshift and nightshift positions are available:
Dayshift: 5.00am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday – 50 hours per weekNightshift: 3.30pm - 2.30am, Monday to Thursday and 3.30pm – 12.00am on Friday - 50 hours per week.
To be successful in this role you will need:- A proven record of reliability and attendance at work
- To be mechanically minded and experienced in timber grading and machine operation
- Proven experience in grading timber to the standard NZS 3631:1988 , an advantage would be to have achieved L3 in Timber grading and optimising.
- To be health and safety focused
- To enjoy working in a team and have good communication skills
- To enjoy physical work as some manual handling is involved
