Safety & Maintenance Coordinator

You’ll coordinate our Safety Management System (SMS) across the club, airport, and pilot academy — handling safety reports, risk registers, and investigations.
You’ll also help manage aircraft maintenance records, liaise with engineers to schedule servicing, and assist with defect tracking to keep our training fleet safe and airworthy.
Part of your time will also involve liaising with contractors, UAV operators, and other tenants working on or around the airfield to ensure safe operations and compliance with airfield procedures.

General admin support is also part of the role, so you’ll be a key team player across all areas of our operation.
Key tasks include:- Administer the Safety Management System and promote a strong safety culture.
- Log and follow up hazard and incident reports.
- Maintain risk and hazard registers.
- Keep aircraft maintenance records up to date and compliant with Civil Aviation Rules.
- Schedule maintenance with engineers and plan downtime with instructors and pilots.
- Liaise with airfield contractors, UAV operators, and tenants to ensure safe operations.
- Provide general admin support to the club, airport, and pilot academy teams.
- A commercially qualified pilot (CPL) or someone with aviation operations experience.
- Great communication and record-keeping skills.
- Good attention to detail and an organised approach.
- A proactive, practical attitude — able to juggle tasks and work with different teams.
- Interest in growing your knowledge of aviation safety and maintenance control.
- Full-time role (or talk to us about part-time).
