Qualified Diesel Mechanic Trucks & Heavy Equipment
The successful applicant’s primary focus will be the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of trucks. However, from time to time, you will also be required to work on earthmoving machinery, so experience with a variety of equipment is highly desirable.
Candidates with auto electrical experience will be viewed favourably, as this skill would be an asset to our team.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on trucks and heavy vehicles
Perform regular servicing and preventative maintenanceAssist with repairs and servicing of earthmoving equipment as required
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace
Requirements:
Relevant trade qualification as a Diesel MechanicProven experience working on trucks (various makes and models)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Willingness to assist with earthmoving machinery when required
Auto electrical experience is advantageous but not essential
A positive attitude and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
