Mō te tūnga | About the roleDefence Estate and Infrastructure (DEI) develop, maintain and manage land, property and infrastructure assets in order to support NZDF military capabilities and all of government outcomes, through the Defence Estate Regeneration ProgrammeYou will be responsible for liaising between the camp command and the service providers, to ensure that delivery of Facilities Maintenance and Management is in accordance with the contract requirements and meets the needs of the customer.A typical day will include:Acting as the lead for day

-to-day issues in relation to Property and facilities.Liaising with customers to ensure base/camp operating requests are considered and responded to in a timely fashion.The oversight of maintenance project budgets to ensure best use of financial resources.This role is based in Devonport Naval Base.

Once you have undergone training and are up to speed, there is the option for flexible working arrangements.Applications may be reviewed upon receipt.

This role will require you to quickly adapt to unfolding situations, reprioritising on the fly, while altogether ensuring that timeframes are adhered to.
