HVAC Technician

Pay Rate: $28–$32 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

c is a reputable company in the building installation sector, specialising in air conditioning and ventilation system services across residential and commercial sites in Auckland. As our business expands, we are currently seeking three skilled HVAC Technicians to join our dynamic team.

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including split systems, ducted units, and commercial-grade air conditioning equipment.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on HVAC systems and refrigeration units.
• Conduct regular servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure efficient operation.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer manuals.
• Maintain accurate service records and comply with all health and safety procedures.
• Monitor and test systems for performance issues and recommend necessary improvements or replacements.
• Liaise with clients and project managers to understand system requirements and report on job status.

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in HVAC installation or maintenance.
• A relevant qualification or vocational training in HVAC, air conditioning, or refrigeration is preferred.
• Sound knowledge of safety standards and New Zealand building code compliance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team on construction and retrofit projects.
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) and good communication skills.
