You will work 8
-hour shifts on a rostered and rotating basis, with a workload equivalent to 0.8 full-time employment over 54 weeks in your programme based at Capital and Coast .This arrangement allows you to strike a balance between your clinical responsibilities, commitments to the Midwifery First Year of Practice (MFYP), and personal life.
Once the programme is completed you will transfer onto the permanent midwife roster.The salary range for this role is MECA Step 2 Registered Midwife.About the Team/Service/ LocationWe have supportive teams who nurture our new graduates and each other.
Our senior teams include the Director of Midwifery, Associate Directors of Midwifery and Midwife Managers.
Our obstetric teams are respectful and collaborative.
We all work alongside our Lead maternity carer colleagues and endeavour to provide the best care for whānau.About youWe are looking for new graduate midwives who want to consolidate their knowledge and skills in our busy maternity units.
