Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleThe Programme Coordinator is a key member of the Kāinga Whakatipu hub team, working alongside the Programme Director and the Delivery Team to ensure the smooth running of the programme to support eligible hapū māmā, tamariki and whānau to live in warmer, drier, and healthier homes. - managing the referral systems and processes, being the key contact point for the programme, coordination of some interventions, ordering of programme resources, undertaking quality improvement initiatives and managing the information in the programme database. The Programme Coordinator will work collaboratively with other team members and key partners to support the provision of interventions to make local homes warmer and drier. Hours of work will be 32 hours a week. About the Team/Service/ LocationKāinga Whakatipu is the Healthy Homes Initiative (HHI) provider for the MidCentral rohe. The programme works with eligible whānau living in cold and damp homes to provide education, advocacy and practical interventions to make the home warmer and drier.

- both verbal and written (including a great phone manner).Demonstrated ability to coordinate tasks and to deliver against commitments.Excellent computer skills
- proficient in use of Office 365 programmes.Self motivated with the ability to work autonomously as well as positively within a team.A healthy sense of humour and a genuine desire to help others.
