We are inviting expressions of interest for a six to nine month development opportunity as a secondment for a Senior Finance Specialist/Senior Management Accountant to provide leave cover and to support additional workload in a vibrant agency focused on delivering better outcomes for women and girls in Aotearoa New Zealand.
This is an exciting opportunity to step up and develop your strategic financial management experience by supporting our CFO. You will have opportunities to act in the CFO role, including around our LT table.Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this roleThe successful secondee will be a highly capable finance professional (chartered accountant) who is confident managing both strategic and operational finance.

You will have the opportunity to draw on your experience and knowledge of government procurement systems, processes and contract management. You'll support or stand in for our CFO to:Lead the monthly account preparation and financial reportingProvide robust financial modelling to support business decision-makingOversee organisational performance and effectivenessSupport our leadership team from a governance perspective to manage any financial and contractual risksKo koe tēnei | About youWe are looking for an experienced financial specialist (chartered accountant) who is keen to take on more responsibility and build their leadership skills.

You won't be afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump in where needed and enjoy multi-tasking across the finance spectrum. You'll also be interested to lean into some of the organisational strategic work, such as non-financial performance measures and performance plans.
