- a key advisory role to the Deputy Chief Executive (DCE), Corporate Services, you will help deliver high-quality services to the Ministry.
You'll work closely with the DCE, Corporate Services and the wider ministry where your strong critical thinking and people skills will be key.The role provides an opportunity to shape the role with the DCE Corporate Services, drive improvements and help evolve how Corporate Services delivers value across the Ministry.
Key responsibilities include:Leading, facilitating and providing support to initiatives that fall across different parts of the Corporate Services group and across the MinistryWorking across Corporate Services and the Ministry to identify areas of improvement and work with managers and their teams to make progress in these areas.Providing advice and support related to the DCE, Corporate Services responsibilities, such as their role as Integrity Champion and Chief Security Officer, the Ministry's engagements with our internal auditors, business continuity and readiness, and developing advice and recommendations for SLT.Taking the lead in problem-solving and supporting the DCE, Corporate Services to ensure that initiatives in the group are set up for success and result in positive outcomes for the Ministry.What you'll bring | Te wāhi ki a koePrevious experience in a similar role, specifically leading, facilitating and supporting projects and initiativesExperience working in the New Zealand public sector and government contextStrong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in working with senior leadersProven ability to work with others at different levels of the organisation to deliver resultsSound judgment and excellent organisational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work autonomously and on several priorities at the same timeA strong continuous improvement mindset and an ability to bring a pragmatic approach to your workCorporate Services experience will be advantageous.Salary range | Whānuitanga Utu ā-TauThe budgeted salary range for this position is $109,208- $135,000 per annum + KiwiSaver.
