About the Role
We are looking for a New Zealand Registered Dietitian to work within our small, diverse department based at Nelson Hospital. This is a casual position, working on an as required basis to cover planned and unplanned leave across all areas of work including inpatient wards, outpatient clinics and community visiting.The role will cater to clients requiring secondary care services for a wide variety of conditions. You may also be called on to provide the same type of cover from the Wairau site.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our team of 13 Dietitians service all parts of the community across Nelson and Wairau Hospitals, and the Richmond and Marlborough Health Hubs. Our work is diverse and challenging, but we have a great team and work hard to make a difference.

About you
As a Dietitian, you will:
- be a NZ Registered Dietitian with a current Annual Practising Certificate,
- have at least two years of previous comprehensive hospital based clinical or generalist experience,
- have experience in a variety of adult nutrition interventions and be comfortable providing ward based paediatric interventions and education,
- Be flexible to work the hours as required,
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
