ABOUT THE ROLE

You will play a key role in managing Ballance’s Industrial Products and Commercial business, focusing on strategic growth, operational leadership, and strong relationship management across a diverse customer base.
  • Operational responsibility to manage and grow Ballance’s Industrial Products and Commercial customer portfolios, with a strong focus on building and maintaining high-value commercial relationships.
  • Act as the primary contact for key commercial customers, including those in the agri-sector, ensuring tailored support, supply continuity, and service excellence.
  • Refine and implement strategic plans and business development initiatives to drive profitable growth in the industrial chemicals sector.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including manufacturing, logistics, and customer service to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Support other commercial segments including merchant and retail partners, and contribute to sales forecasting, planning, and execution.

ABOUT YOU

You’re commercially savvy, highly collaborative, and strategic, with a passion for relationship building and business development. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring strong operational and sales acumen.

To be considered for this role, you will have the following:

  • Experience in a sales relationship or business development role, ideally within the Agriculture or industrial chemicals or related sector.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute business strategies that drive growth and profitability.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Sound understanding of commercial finance, supply chain operations, and customer portfolio planning.
  • Ability to influence, lead initiatives and drive cross-functional collaboration within a manufacturing-focused environment.
