Sawadee Ka, our shop is located on Veronica Street, New Lynn. We offer Thai Traditional massage with our professional and experienced therapists. We are looking for experienced Thai Massage therapists to join our team. We want to welcome friendly new team members who have a service mind and know how to work as a team.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working in an authentic Thai Massage business, OR
• A related qualification (at NZ Register Diploma level or higher, overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification), OR
• The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Traditional Thai Massage) from Thailand

• Managing bookings and schedules for customers/clients.
• Liaise with customers/clients on their requirements and areas of concern.
• Deal with areas of concern by using a variety of Thai massage techniques.
• Promote ongoing treatment and recommendations to further improve customers'/clients wellbeing
• Use other resources available to you to provide the best service possible, including oils, hot and cold treatments, bean bags, massage pillows, sticks and hot stones.
• Work with business owners to manage promotions and deals
• Carry out massage therapist duties, including greeting, preparing and using genuine Thai massage techniques with all customers
• Ensure the workspace is clean and presentable for all customers, and a high standard of hygiene is maintained for the workspace and all equipment is in good repair/condition.

• Being proficient in performing traditional Thai massage in accordance with normal practices.
• Effectively assessing clients’ physical condition and case histories, to ensure the best service is provided.
• Comprehensively advising clients on treatment routines available and stretching and relaxation techniques
• Carefully applying massage techniques to clients’ bodies to enhance performance and prevent injuries
• Effectively combining massage techniques to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve tension
• Proficiently assessing and treating areas of concern for clients to heal, relieve, and provide rehabilitation advice
• Competently employing additional techniques such as acupressure, heat therapy, essential oils, herbal, mineral and wet compression to aid healing and improve massage experience

• This is a full-time and permanent position
• Wage payment is between $27 and $30 per hour, depending on your skills and experience, and you will be paid weekly.
• Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law
• You will be working at 25 Veronica Street, New Lynn, Auckland
• You will work according to a roaster 5 - 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours (maximum of 48 hours)
