ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced operator - someone who knows how to keep the wheels turning smoothly, and who takes quiet pride in helping things run better every day. This is a part-time fixed term parental leave role until Aug 2026(3 days per week) that holds an important place in keeping TRA’s operational heartbeat steady.
You’ll work closely with our Head of Operations, collaborating with our HR, Finance and IT teams to make sure the right systems, processes, and relationships stay in rhythm. You’ll be the go-to for ensuring suppliers are supported, knowledge is shared, and day-to-day operations continue to hum.
Key responsibilities are:
Knowledge Base & Internal Systems- Maintain and monitor our knowledge base, ensuring it stays current, useful and easy to navigate.
- Support the roll-out and adoption of Confluence, helping teams embed it into everyday workflows.
- Oversee contract storage and reviews to ensure compliance and accessibility.
- Create or update how-to guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs) based on business needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key suppliers such as Ricoh, Kordia, Carbon Zero, Insurance and Corporate Traveller.
- Maintain strong relationships through regular catch-ups, reviews and updates.
- Monitor SLAs and supplier performance, coordinating quarterly or annual reviews.
- Ensure MSA contracts are save in the right space and required reviews are scheduled and followed.
- Liaise with internal IT on day-to-day operational needs -asset lists, orders, and applications.
- Manage SharePoint access and ensure the right permissions are in place across teams.
- Support system and process mapping, ensuring they reflect current practices.
- Contribute to testing or piloting new tools.
Requirements
Who you are:
- A seasoned operations professional who knows how to bring calm, structure and clarity.
- Someone who loves improving processes but understands the value of maintaining what’s already working.
- Organised, people-oriented, and comfortable liaising across multiple teams and suppliers.
- Confident in managing information systems and supplier relationships.
- Ideally, you’ve worked in environments that balance creativity and rigour -where people and process both matter.
