Garden Assistant – Garden Maintenance

Aspen Landscapes Ltd is locally owned and operated. We service the Wellington Region and have done so for over 23 years. We have a loyal fan base and some great gardens and backyards for you to learn your trade-in.
Recently we have promoted a number of our dedicated/competent apprentices to more senior roles, we are now looking at bringing on new team members.
Position Details:- Hours: 44 hours per week - 7:30am – 5:00pm (4pm finish on Fridays)
- Tools, uniform, PPE, and work boot allowance provided

Working alongside experienced gardeners to provide exceptional garden maintenance services to high-end residential and commercial properties. While primarily assisting, we have opportunities for the right candidate to occasionally step up and lead maintenance projects as you grow into the role.
The Ideal Candidate:- Good level of fitness and a "can-do attitude"
- Have a clean Driver’s License and be able to drive a manual vehicle
- Experience working with power tools and gardening equipment, such as weed eaters, lawn mowers, pole trimmers and chainsaws (but not limited to).
- Be punctual and polite
- Enjoy providing great customer service
- Be enthusiastic about your work and be a brand ambassador for the company
- Be tidy and organised
- Be a good listener
