Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Related qualification above level 4 or at leate three years related experience
Chinese restaurant work experience is preferred
Mandarin speaker required
Type: PermanentPay range: $25 to $28 per hour
Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours, with standard hours of 40-50 hours per week
Duties and Responsibilities:- examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
- regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
- preparing and cooking food
- seasoning food during cooking
- portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
- storing food in temperature controlled facilities
- preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
- may plan menus and estimate food requirements
- may train other kitchen staff and apprentices
