3-4 day a week Barista/Cafe Assistant
We started Breadhead in 2018, expanded in 2023 and are buzzing! We create a large range of high quality bread, pastry, and baked goods, serve banging brews and offer lovely relational customer service.
We are looking for an experienced barista/cafe assistant to join our team on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays (with the possibility of picking up Sundays in a few months too).
We are a really busy site, so previous experience in busy environments and a love for the hustle and bustle is a must. As well as a natural ability to stay calm and maintain the standards through out it all.
The position will involve a combination of our food, till and barista roles. So it is best suited to someone who enjoys variety and all facets of front of house. Someone who is bright and bubbly and great with people. Someone happy to serve ques of customers and build and maintain relationships while doing it.Someone organised and clean who loves the excitement of docket after docket of heating and plating cabinet food. And someone who loves making a cracking tasting and looking coffee.
The position involves Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. Approximately 19 hours minimum worked between about 7am and 4:15pm. From time to time there may be an earlier start. And the ability to pick up extra shifts on other days is desirable. There is also the possibility of picking up Sundays in a few months too.
