Based in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) AT Tauranga Hospital, this permanent part-time position is designed to provide hands-on support to Allied Health Professionals (AHP) including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Dietitians, and Speech-Language Therapists.As an AHA in ICU, you will support delegated tasks that contribute directly to the care and wellbeing of patients recovering from a variety of conditions such as traumatic brain injury, stroke, frailty, and general medical presentations.
You will have the opportunity to build strong working relationships across disciplines, helping improve patient outcomes in one of the hospital's most complex care environments.This role offers weekday coverage with some flexibility for weekend work as needed.About the Team/Service/ LocationYou will report to the Occupational Therapy Team Lead but will be supported by and work closely with the wider inpatient Allied Health team, Clinical Leads, and Senior Medical and Nursing staff in ICU.
