Cookright Operator – Commercial Kitchen Servicing and Cleaning

Hourly Rate: $24–$26
About Us:Cookright provides commercial kitchens with vital services including cooking oil delivery and waste collection, filter exchanges, and hygiene-focused deep cleaning. We're seeking reliable and physically fit individuals to join our growing Waikato team.
About the Role:As a Cookright Operator, you'll be responsible for delivering and collecting cooking oil, providing on-site servicing to hospitality clients, and carrying out scheduled kitchen cleaning jobs. This is a hands-on, physically active role with a strong customer service component.
Key Responsibilities:Your duties will include:
Day-to-Day Customer Servicing- Travelling to customer sites based on a scheduled route
- Performing on-site services including:
o Cooking oil filtering
o Delivery of fresh cooking oil
o Collection and deposit of waste oil
o Collection and cleaning of overhead filters
- Following standard operating procedures and health & safety protocols
- Preparing the service vehicle (stocking consumables, loading waste oil pails, etc.)
- Driving to and from client locations
- Recording products/services provided at each site
- End-of-day tasks: cleaning of equipment, pails, filter socks
- Weekly tasks: deep cleaning of equipment and vehicle
- Following individual job specifications for:
o Kitchen appliance and full kitchen cleaning
o Soak tank maintenance
o Other commercial kitchen hygiene services
Ancillary Tasks- Loading/unloading equipment
- Cleaning and maintaining tools post-job
- Returning vehicle and equipment to base
- A full NZ driver’s licence (Class 1)
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 20L oil containers
- Good time management and reliability
- Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, trades, or driving is advantageous, but not essential – training is provided
