Registered Nurse

Right now, we'relooking for a Registered Nurse to join the Community Services Team and make areal difference in outcomes for individuals who are in genuine need of support Day to day thisrole is focused on undertaking comprehensive client assessments, and assiststhe clients to set goals and identify comprehensive planning that will meettheir needs.
Subsequent monitoring andevaluation of health status is also required. All assessmentsuse the appropriate assessment tools for the service and for the most part therole works autonomously and in rotational roles alongside other members of theNASC team, this includes triage, hospital liaison and out in the community.RegisteredNurses will benefit being under the Multi-employment Collective Agreement(MECA) and have the opportunity to progress through Professional DevelopmentRecognition Programmes (PDRP).
Successful candidates will have;Understanding of the Health ofthe older person Strategy and other relevant national policy documents andlegislationCommitment to enhancing thequality of life and supporting independent community living and ability tomanage client and family expectations.Able to work effectivelyindependently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamAt least 5 years of nursingexperienceNew Zealand Driver License that is currentWorking at HealthNew Zealand HealthNew Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare forthe people of New Zealand.
