Retail Sales & Swimming Pool Care Specialist

1. Customer Service & Retail Sales:

• Greet and assist customers with their pool and spa needs, delivering exceptional service.
• Provide expert advice on pool chemicals, accessories, and maintenance equipment.
• Upsell and recommend products tailored to customers’ unique needs.
• Operate the water testing station, offering customers solutions for water balancing and chemical treatments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked retail space with attractive product displays.

1. Swimming Pool Care & Valet Services:

• Perform on-site pool and spa valet services, including cleaning, vacuuming, and skimming.
• Test and balance water chemistry during visits to ensure pool health and safety.
• Inspect pool systems such as filters, pumps, and chlorinators for proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot and assist with basic repairs or adjustments to pool equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and report back to the store.

1. Team Collaboration:

• Support fellow team members in achieving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Assist with seasonal sales promotions, in-store events, and campaigns.
• Collaborate with the technical team to coordinate larger maintenance jobs when required.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Prior experience with pool care or a willingness to learn is essential (training provided).
• Technical Knowledge:
• Basic understanding of water chemistry and pool equipment is an advantage.
• Hands-on skills and confidence working with tools or pool systems are desirable.
• Customer Focus:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for helping customers.
• Other Skills:
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in both retail and field settings.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• A valid driver’s license is required for valet services.
