Home Coordinator - Youth Mental Health Respite

MASH Trust is looking for a compassionate and organised Home Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of our Youth Mental Health Respite home.
About the RoleAs a Home Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our youth respite home is a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment. You'll coordinate the home's daily operations, support a team of Community Support Workers (CSWs), and work closely with rangatahi, their whanau, and external agencies to ensure high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities * Lead and support a team of CSWs to deliver consistent, trauma-informed care.- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic home environment.
- Coordinate support plans and ensure they reflect the unique needs of each rangatahi.
- Support rangatahi to engage in community, cultural, recreational, and educational activities.
- Manage administrative tasks, documentation, and household supplies.
- Be a key point of contact for whanau, Oranga Tamariki, CAMHS and other stakeholders.
- Experience in residential or community-based youth services.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive practice.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- A full, clean NZ driver's licence.
- A relevant qualification in Health and Wellbeing (Level 4), Youth Work or willingness to work towards one.
