Description
Our Christchurch branch is seeking an energetic, team member with warehouse experience to be part of a busy and growing business. Flexibility is required and training will include working in both the ambient and freezer warehouses.
Responsibilities: Pick and pack orders in both our ambient and freezer warehouses.
Fulfil customer orders by picking items from shelves, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipping.Fork hoist experience is a requirement.
Receive incoming shipments, accurately record quantities, and prepare orders for dispatch.
Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stocktakes, and ensure stock levels are optimized.
Ensure all outgoing products meet quality standards through careful inspection and adherence to company guidelines.
Assist with general housekeeping, including maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Requirements: Proven experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in chilled or freezer conditions
Must be prepared to work within a cold environment (freezer and chiller)Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and documenting information.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
