Calling all experienced Class 5 drivers and Operators! If you're a master in the cab, whether it's an excavator or a truck & trailer, we have a great opportunity for you to work alongside a NZ family-owned and operated civil construction company!
With plenty of work ahead, this company is in growth mode and is seeking candidates with a background in civil construction.
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 License
• Valid WTR with ability to operate Loaders, Diggers, Excavators (ideal)
• Experience in civil construction a must
• A commitment to Health and Safety
• Physically fit
• Reliable own transport
Responsibilities:
• Driving road rangers & reversing big rigs in and around sites and swinging buckets with finesse
• Transporting materials, equipment and personnel to and from job sites
• Assisting with loading and unloading of materials and equipment as needed
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe and responsible operation
• Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors and other team members
• Maintain accurate records of mileage and vehicle maintenance
