A Little Bit About the Role:
Your time will primarily be focused on managing content for a portfolio of SEO clients operating across a range of industries. Working closely with our Head of SEO & Copywriting and as part of a wider team of digital marketing specialists, your primary responsibility will be to ensure we are delivering the highest level of content to our clients.
What We Are Looking For:
We’re looking for a copy master who can put the ‘WOW’ factor into content! A charismatic individual with a real passion for the art of copywriting, you will be the type to casually brush the fear of AI off your collar with the unwavering confidence that your writing will never be matched by a robot.
What You Would Be Doing:
• Writing quality content tailored to achieve SEO growth, including web copy and blog articles, for a variety of clients and industries.
• Creating engaging Ad copy that ‘pops’ for digital platforms, including Google and Facebook.
• Attending account onboarding workshops to discuss/learn about a client's business, industry and market competitors.
• Producing content designed for EDM marketing flows and client newsletters
• Managing all of the content requirements for Sprocket’s own marketing strategy
Key Requirements:
• Ability to create high-quality, error-free, original, and engaging copy for email newsletters, social media posts, etc.
• Experience in writing long-form copy for landing pages, video scripts, blogs, etc.
• Some knowledge of SEO best practices, including metadata, internal linking, Google helpful content guidelines, E-E-A-T and YMYL notions
• Exceptional grammar, research, fact-checking, writing, and editing skills
• Capable of writing for different demographics and brand guidelines
• Self-motivated with good time management and organisational skills
• Experience with writing and content management tools
• English native speaker
