We are currently on the lookout for experienced and enthusiastic Chefs to join us at Victoria University in Wellington. This is a Casual Position where you can pick up shifts upon your availability. We offer flexible working hours and conditions to suite your lifestyle!

Our Chefs are at the very heart of what we do. Hundreds of thousands of people around New Zealand rely on us every day to provide their breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
In this position you will be responsible for preparing, cooking and serving good quality food for our residents. You will also be assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties.
He korero mou / About you:
If you're our ideal candidate, you will:
• At least have 3 year experience as a Chef;
• NZQA Level 4 Cookery or equivalent would be an advantage.
• Be hard working, reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Have excellent understanding of all hygiene, health and food safety practices in a food environment
• Have excellent communication skills
• Preferably hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 & 168)
• Have the ability to work independently and confidently, but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
