Civil Truck Drivers
Our client is offering varied and rewarding work opportunities alongside strong company values, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
We have opportunities for drivers with class 5 , road ranger and auto experience, who have experience in or are interested in working with the Surfacing team. Training and upskilling is available for the right candidates with a great attitude and eager to learn the industry.
Drivers will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating trucks across civil sites. Primarily focused on driving and operating the role will also include assisting the team with some hands-on work as required on-site.

Role and responsibilities
• 60/40 truck/laboring
• Safe Reversing practicing and Jack knifing experience
• Tipping experience, bulk cartage or surfacing experience preferred
• Basic maintenance and plant cleaning
• Understand full H&S for driving on civil site
Role Requirements
• A clean, class 5 driver license,
• WTR endorsements beneficial not essential
• A strong background in operating auto and/or road ranger
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Proven experience driving a variety of 6 wheeler trucks with manual and automatic gearboxes
• Experience with tipper trucks
• Good communication skills
• Experience working on civil projects
• Good heath and safety skills
• Knowledge of NZ transport laws
• Ability to competently complete pre-start checks
• Competently complete logbook requirements
