Auto Glass Technician Trainee

We are looking for a talented and dedicated individual to be trained to become an outstanding Auto Glass Technician. Based at our Central Christchurch Depot, this person will be required to perform all duties associated with automotive glazing.
We operate both a workshop and a mobile service throughout the Canterbury area.
We will provide on the job training to the right candidate to become competent in all areas of automotive glazing i.e. windscreen replacements on cars and trucks, side and rear window replacements, stone chip repairs, machinery glass replacement and ADAS re calibration.
The applicant will need to:
• Have drive and enthusiasm to learn all aspects of Automotive Glazing.
• Be able to use their initiative
• Be well presented in both appearance and attitude.
• Be punctual and keep accurate time records.
• Have the ability to be consistent in producing high quality workmanship.
• Be able to work well as a team member.
• Be able to deal in a professional, friendly and polite manner at all times.
• Be physically fit and healthy.
• Be available to work overtime, as may reasonably be expected.
• Have a Full New Zealand Drivers License and to be able to drive a manual motor vehicle during their term of employment.
