The Job:
We have been tasked with finding skilled class 5 drivers In Christchurch who have civil experience. Some of this work will be driving trucks with Roadranger transmissions so Roadranger experience is essential. Experience with Auto Transmissions as well is preferred.
Our client prefers to work with stafff who have had previous driving or operating experience in Australia, perhaps in the mines or on larger civil projects. If that's you, even better.
We want to find the perfect candidate who can tip, jackknife, transport heavy machinery and get out of the cab to help onsite in between. If you can at least tick 3 of these boxes, we need to talk.
Most of the work is based in or around Christchurch. We have a small workload in other regions too so if your mates are looking for something better let us know.
About You:
• Have significant previous experience as a Class 5 driver
• Tipping experience (truck and trailer)
• Experience working around heavy machinery
• Ideally have operator experience too
• Be committed to maintaining high standards of Health and Safety practices including passing a pre-employment drug test.
• Team player and willing to get out of the truck
• Be able to work unsupervised
• Be self motivated
