The Role: We are seeking to employ a
Diesel Mechanic
for Simcox Division in
Blenheim
• The ideal person will be capable of operating out in the field and in the workshop. When working out on site, you will be servicing our various pieces of machinery or responding to break downs. In the workshop you will be challenged with a wide and varied range of plant to maintain.
Work ranges from small plant, plate compactors etc all the way through Utes, trucks, construction equipment, to quarry trucks and loaders. Petrol experience would be helpful. A real “can do” attitude will be a winner and you will enjoy the variety of work and different workplaces.
What you bring to the role:
Extensive experience
Have a good attitude and be a team player
Have a clean driver licence, classes 2,3,4, 5 would be an advantage
Be flexible to work beyond “normal” working hours when required
A background within a similar industry would be a definite advantage
