About Us:
We are a small friendly team working predominantly with small commercials, New Builds, Renovation and our Main contract with Kainga Ora (Housing New Zealand).
What's in it for you:
• Permanent full-time position and guaranteed minimum of 35 hours per week
• Starting minimum hourly rate of 29.70 based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinating tasks and construction work according to priorities and plans
• Ensuring manpower and resources are adequate
• Supervising the use of machinery and equipment
• Reporting on progress to managers, engineers ect
• Keeping daily logs for each site you are responsible for in written reports with photos and videos.
• Guaranteeing all safety precautions and quality standards are met
What we looking for:
• A minimum of proven 2 years experience in the construction industry
• Own hand tool kit and sand machine
• Reliable own transport (Company van may be provided to the right candidate)
• Valid NZ Drivers License (Good to have but not essential)
• Good communication skills (written/verbal)
• Good time management skills
• A great eye for detail
• Must be fit, reliable, punctual & honest
• Top notch work ethic and ability to work unsupervised
Please note successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment Ministry of Justice check, including drug and alcohol testing.
Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
