As a Quality Auditor (QA) Technician Supervisor at NZWindows, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality for windows and doors during the manufacturing process and for pre-delivery inspections.
This role involves being responsible for our Quality Technicians, conducting audits, recording defect information, providing feedback, and contributing to defect investigations.
The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Conduct audits on assembled windows and doors during the assembly process and pre delivery inspection sign off.
• Ensure adherence to the NZWindows assembly process and inspection standard work documents.
• Record detailed defect information on visual management boards and management systems.
• Communicate defects clearly and provide support to area personnel as defects are identified.
• Participate actively in daily quality meetings, offering detailed feedback on quality issues.
• Take part in defect investigations and component inspections as required.
• Adhere strictly to the company's Health & Safety Policy and promote safe working practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Experience in supervising or team management.
• Proven experience in the Built-in Quality process.
• Familiarity with All Quality Events (AQE) protocols.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions and procedures.
• Exceptional attention to detail in identifying and documenting defects.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to approach and work through quality issues in a methodical manner.
• Basic IT skills.
