At BestStart Highfield, the nursery room has been designed to create a spacious, relaxed and inviting learning environment for children aged between 3 months to 2 years. Our teaching team is dedicated to creating a calm and unhurried atmosphere where children will be given full attention during important routine times.
By working in close relationships and open communication with our families we are able to work at each child's individual pace to ensure that their ever-changing needs are nurtured and easily catered for within the flexible daily routine.
Our successful applicant will be:

• open to new ideas and collaborative in their approach to work
Role requirements: Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. We are looking for the following:
• B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current teacher registration/certification
• Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
• Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
• A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
• Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
This is a permanent full-time position working 35-40 hours per week Monday-Friday.
