At Compass Group we have an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Stores Supervisor to join our team at Compass Group Production Kitchen in Penrose.
Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:
In this key role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient management of Goods In & Out in accordance with the site Food Control Plan and site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Accurate execution of associated administration tasks.
Line management of the Stores Assistant and any other staff within the Logistics function, as the business grows. Lifting is a requirement of this role so all applicants need to be physically fit and able to pack finished product as well as store in ambient and chilled / frozen storage areas.
He korero mou / About you:
If you're our ideal candidate, you will:
• Need to hold a Clean, Full Driving License
• Have proven storeperson/delivery experience
• Be self-motivated, flexible, reliable and a positive attitude
• Be physically fit and capable of physical activity (lifting and moving loads)
• Be proficient in stock dispatch, rotation and management
• Be diligent with temperature checks, stock transfers and counts
• Demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality
