Ignition Firewood are seeking a keen person to step in and take over truck loading responsibility for our fleet of delivery trucks. We are a small team of 14 who source, process, dry and deliver 1000's of cube of wood per year. We specialize in home delivery of high quality firewood and work year round to achieve this.
We are looking for an all rounder who can work well in team, has an eye for detail and can also work independently if required.
MUST have 2 years experience minimum on wheel loader, forklift, digger or other machine - or minimum 2 years experience truck driving.
Key Responsibilities; * Using wheel loader to load firewood into truck.
• Loading firewood screen with loader.
• Arranging truck logistics with office staff
• Liaising with drivers and customers, loading trucks before delivery.
Key Skills:
• Able to drive manual truck
• Experience operating machinery (wheel loader, forklift etc)
• WTR course (beneficial)
• Full class 2 (beneficial)
• Forklift license (beneficial)
Days and Hours
Monday - Friday
6:30am - 5pm
Saturday
6:30am - 2pm
Must be able to pass a pre employment drug test, and be comfortable with random testing and post incident drug testing. Machines and drugs do not mix - zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use.
Immediate start for the right person, full training provided. Potential to up skill with a class 2 or WTR course.
