The Opportunity:

My clients are looking for a Logistics Coordinator who will be responsible for the implementation of time-critical distribution processes supporting the Distribution Supervisor and Distribution & Reverse Logistics Manager. The role also offers key logistical support to the Sales Business Operations Planning.

This role is a permanent full-time position and will be located Ellslies and parking is provided.

Some of your key areas of responsibility will include:

 •  Regular maintenance of customer master data, working closely with sales/planning teams to ensure stock is allocated to orders to meet order release requirements to warehouse
 •  cut off management to ensure correct workflow and volumes to 3PL warehouse and transport teams, prioritization of book in requirements with key customers, customer visits, exception management, inventory management and stock take support
 •  Monitor the exception (consignments that fail to meet On-time delivery, Damages, Split, Misdirect, Late order release)
 •  Follow up with carrier daily on all outstanding or incomplete deliveries where revenue has not been recognized
 •  Understand Dispatch Policy and able to coordinate and communicate this information with 3PL warehouses for dispatch of orders
 •  B2B/B2C/Retail delivery coordination as well as any special delivery requirements
 •  Weekly and monthly data collection and assistance with KPI reporting.
 •  Support 3PL transport drivers by assisting with rejected deliveries due to damages, canceled orders and others to avoid the return of products
 •  Execution of delivery book-in distribution requests and update delivery confirmation dates in order for release promptly

To be successful in this role:

 •  Demonstrated experience in an administrative role within a logistics/supply chain, sales administration, or customer service environment. Minimum 3 years of experience within a similar environment.
 •  Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
 •  Experience working within an integrated computer system environment
 •  Methodical and logical thinker with high level customer service skills
 •  Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced changing environment
 •  Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
 •  Excellent English - written and verbal
