Packing- Machined components

The Role:
Working as part of a small closeknit team, you will be packing machined components in preparation for shipping. Everyday is different with tasks including assembling wooden crates and cardboard boxes, ensuring the product packed matches the documentation, moving components via crane, truck or forklift, and stacking into shipping containers, ready to export.
Ideal candidates are able to think creatively. With the variation in size, shape, and dimensions of our machined components, choosing the right way to pack them safe for travel poses a mental challenge, Tetris-like, at times.
To be the perfect fit for this role you will bring:
• Physical strength and stamina
• Exceptional spatial awareness, organisational skills, and attention to detail
• Rights to live and work in New Zealand
• Prior experience in warehouse/picking/packing environment is useful
• Forklift certificate not necessary but useful
Hours:
• Monday- Friday
• 7:30am-4pm
