We deliver a broad range of painting projects across the greater Waikato and Bay of Plenty areas with a focus area on interior/exterior commercial property refurbishment.
Along with our Painting team, APS also covers projects such as height related works, building and roofing repairs, heritage building restoration, waterproofing membranes, and nationwide painting & rebranding.
About the Role
We are currently looking for a trade experienced painter to join our dynamic team based in Bay of Plenty but travel around the greater WAIBOP area might be required.
As a driven individual you will be working with a great team of people. You must have a high expectation of your workmanship. You will be professional and reliable, able to communicate with both trade staff and clients alike.
Site safe and Fall arrest experience would be preferred, training will be available for the right candidate, you must be prepared to put in an honest day’s work.
Experience in all aspects of coatings would be beneficial and a trade qualification is required.
The position comes a very competitive hourly rate for the right candidate.
Key Skills and experience
• Relevant industry experience
• Great time management skills
• Physically fit
• Ability to train and Mentor Apprentices
Applicants must have NZ residency and hold a full NZ drivers’ license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
