Job: Class 5 Curtain Sider Driver (Nightshift)
Pay: $30-$35p/hr
Location: Taupo

We are currently seeking a skilled Class 5 Curtain Sider Driver with a Forklift License to join our team. As a Class 5 Curtain Sider Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods using a curtain sider truck while also utilizing your forklift skills for loading and unloading when necessary.
This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
 •  Safely operate a Class 5 curtain sider truck to transport goods to designated locations.

Load and unload goods using a forklift as required.

Secure loads using appropriate restraints and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and vehicle maintenance.
Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and interactions with clients.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.

Requirements:
 •  Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.

Valid forklift license (F endorsement) with experience in operating a forklift.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Class 5 driver.
Knowledge of road safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
