About the Job
• Opportunity for a Registered Nurse with leadership experience to advance into a clinical leadership role.
• Responsible for guiding, coordinating, and developing the clinical team to deliver high-quality holistic care.
• Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager and closely supported by them in this role.
• Position entails 72 hours per fortnight (0.9 FTE) with occasional weekend shifts to stay connected.
• Includes limited shared on-call responsibilities.
The ideal candidate
• Experience in a similar role or a senior nurse with strong leadership capabilities looking to step up.
• A current annual practising certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
• Preferably you have had exposure to older persons health, dementia or palliative care environments.
• InterRai training is advantageous.
• Outstanding communication skills and experience liaising with patient's families.
