The Company:
Join the newly established Tauranga office of a national New Zealand Consultancy. Their reputation for integrity, expertise, and reliability has made them a trusted partner for clients nationwide, contributing to the development and enhancement of engineering, surveying, and planning services across infrastructure, land development, and environmental management.

The Role:
As a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver accurate survey data, boundary determinations, & legal documentation essential for successful project completion. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects while enjoying a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

 •  Conduct cadastral surveys, including boundary determinations, topographical surveys, and subdivision surveys.
 •  Prepare and review survey plans, legal descriptions, and land title documents in accordance with regulatory requirements.
 •  Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
 •  Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members as required.
 •  Utilize cutting-edge surveying technology and software to enhance project efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

 •  Licensed Cadastral Surveyor qualification recognised by the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors.
 •  Proven experience in cadastral surveying, preferably within a consultancy or land development environment.
 •  Strong understanding of New Zealand land surveying legislation, regulations, and standards, including NZS3910.
 •  Proficiency in surveying software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS & related systems.
 •  Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
