OneStaff has an exciting opportunity for an experienced salesperson to join the busy team. We’re searching for a motivated individual who has a passion for dealing with people and excellent sales drive, to help us take advantage of the increasing need for recruitment services in the Waikato region.

This position will focus predominately on the local industrial and commercial sectors and will involve running a busy temp desk as well as a growing focus on permanent placements. Full recruitment training can be provided to the right applicant.

The core duties of the role involve:

Business Development
 •  Actively build relationships and networks in the region and areas of assigned responsibility to build the OneStaff business – a specific focus on gaining and growing new clients across various sectors is integral, as is the successful management and development of existing accounts.
 •  Proactively identify and grow opportunities with areas of responsibility in the local region – actively look for appropriate business solutions a customer’s (client or candidate) needs.
 •  Forecasting new trends and being pro-active in market research and networking and ensuring Business Development is effectively predicting and targeting the right markets to support the wider business position as directed by the Area Manager.
 •  Play an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients. Ensure all new business quotes are well scoped and all opportunities identified to maximize potential profits.
Obtain best value for each contract through understanding and communication of clients, candidates and internal team information.

Account Management
 •  Operate as the main point of contact and escalation point for matters specific to your customers and ensure client concerns are addressed quickly and promptly with full communication and resolution.
 •  Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships..
 •  Ensure quality standards are adhered to through rigorous site plans and OneStaff auditing requirements, active management of candidate workforce and attendance of client meetings.
 •  Proactive management of the relationship and ensure continuous improvement is ongoing across your services and areas of responsibility.
 •  Within the bounds of responsibility and approval level assist with ongoing account management and client negotiation activities included in regional tenders, service level agreements, resolution of potential issues etc.
 •  Seek to balance profitability with sustainable relationships and a positive, solutions-oriented brand image for OneStaff.
 •  Ensure there is timely action taken on all client and candidate complaints or follow-up requirements.

Recruitment
 •  Primarily focused on temporary staff and contractors, you'll be required to build up skilled talent pools of active candidates who are seeking new employment at a variety of levels (from entry to senior level). Your ability to build rapport with candidates, read their motivations, be empathetic to their situation, and supportive in your approach will ensure successful integration into the OneStaff model - where we truly focus on enabling our candidates to feel part of our family through their recruitment journey.
 •  Ensure thorough and comprehensive interviews are carried out using appropriate tools and assessments as required to determine skills and abilities.
 •  Ensure all appropriate documentation, administration and online systems are used and updated in a timely, confidential, and accurate manner.
 •  Responsible for all affected staff to be kept up to date with new or updated requirements as it relates to recruitment and any compliance changes to process or practice implemented at your clients.

To be considered for this role you must have:

 •  A fantastic attitude with strong personal drive and sales acumen
 •  The ability to juggle multiple tasks while staying composed.
 •  Experience operating and maintaining a large database.
 •  A proven record of acting with integrity and upholding the highest of values.
 •  The ability to work as a part of a team and have a laugh as you go.
 •  Full Class 1 Drivers Licence

This is a Monday to Friday role from 8am – 5pm however some overtime is an expected part of this position as and when client needs dictate. Although based in Hamilton, some nationwide travel is expected to attend internal training seminars, conferences and industry awards etc.
