The Downer Greenspaces team have a reputation built through having great people, access to first class plant and equipment along with leading edge technology that allow us to deliver to the highest standards across New Zealand. Our teams are professional, focused on delivery of best practice in Parks and Reserves Maintenance services to our clients and the members of the public.
**A bit about the role:**
As a Greenspace Operator, you will:
• Need to plan / manage / undertake mowing and maintenance of turf on designated sites and reserves to contract specification and or instruction.
• Need to ensure that high quality, timely and planned service is delivered within the required timeframes.
• Also, ensure a high level of safety is adhered to in order to protect the public, other team members, and yourself.
**Nga pukenga matua | Important Skills**
We are looking for a team member who has:
• Upfront / Ride-on Mowing or Parks maintenance experience an advantage but training can be given
• Familiar with electronic data entry or computer experience an advantage
• Self-motivated and ability to work in a team
• Minimum Full Class 1 Drivers Licence
