About BJ Electrical: We are a successful electrical business, established in 1994, looking to grow our team!
We have a large customer base in rural areas, so all aspects of dairy sheds, irrigation, effluent systems, refrigeration, water pumps, and their control, are important components of the services we offer.
Besides general electrical work, we also install and service security alarms, CCTV systems, fire alarms, heat pumps and alternative energy solutions. Along with this, we help many schools, assisting with their varied electrical and technical needs, and support local communities and businesses in both the residential and commercial sectors.
Our workforce is based in the Rotorua/Galatea area, however we are open to candidates in surrounding areas as we regularly travel throughout the Bay of Plenty and South Waikato areas.
Our ideal candidate:
• Must hold a current EWRB Registered Electrician licence, OR have a qualification in a service we offer and be willing to take on an electrical apprenticeship to increase their qualification base.
• Needs fault-finding and problem-solving skills, coupled with a customer-focused outlook
• Will have a willingness to learn and develop
• Will be self-motivated and have the ability to work unsupervised
• Will have a clean driver's license
• Will be a New Zealand resident or have a valid NZ working visa
