Part Time Bakery Assistant - NW Stonefields

New World Stonefields has an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, reliable and switched-on Assistant to join one of the best in-store bakeries in Auckland.
In this role you will:
• Take customer orders and serve them appropriately.
• Handle all other customer enquiries including cake orders.
• Ensure the bakery cases are appropriately stocked and products are attractively displayed.
• Pack and price baked breads, rolls, cakes, loaves, biscuits etc.
• Pack cakes and cut cake slices ready for packaging.
• Mixing and baking cake products and other products (e.g. muffins, scones etc.)
• Prepare and traying up baked goods for the next production run.
• Clean the prover, ovens, chiller and bakery cases.
• Scanning and recording wastage.
• Keeping the department neat and tidy (housekeeping).
You'll need to bring with you an impressivework ethic, excellentcommunication skills, the ability towork independentlyand within ateam, strongcustomer focusand the desire toexcel.
This is apermanent parttime role.We arelooking for candidates who ableto work Friday 1:00pm - 10:00pm and Saturday 10:00am - 7:00pm.
