Bakery Assistant/Baker/FoH

We are looking for a new team member to join our little sourdough bakery! Our focus is on making traditional sourdough loaves, sweets and treats to a very high standard.

We are a small team, so are looking for someone who can apply themselves to a variety of tasks. Whether you are an experienced baker, or a bubbly Front of house, the most important trait is a good work ethic and willingness to learn. Experience is preferred, but not essential.

If your experience lends itself to a front of house role, your duties may include:
 •  Selling bakery products to our fantastic customers
 •  Maintaining a tidy shopfront
 •  Learning about our products and answering customer questions
 •  Helping with bakery duties such as dough preparation and cleaning dishes and production areas
Hours for this role will likely be between 35-40 hours per week from Wednesday to Saturday (starting 6-7am)

If you have experience as a baker, your duties may include:
 •  Croissant and pastry production
 •  Assisting with sourdough production
 •  Baking loaves and other baked goods to a high standard
 •  Contributing your own ideas and experience to new products
 •  General cleaning of the bakery and dishes as required.
Hours for this role will likely be between 35-40 hours per week from Tuesday to Friday. The start time will depend on how your experience fits into our operation.
