The mental health and addictions service deliver a variety of services across the Waikato region. We are a service undertaking a huge programme of change to deliver better outcomes to tangata whai ora and whanau in our region. A new-build adult inpatient facility is in the planning stages, along with transformational change for community mental health. We are looking for someone who is:

 •  A Psychiatrist who is vocationally registered, or are eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
 •  Is versatile, flexible and have a passion for working in a team approach
 •  Is excited about and willing to contribute to, and participate in change
 •  Is passionate about eliminating health inequities for Maori people
