Bring your strategic thinking, stakeholder and people-management skills to manage and develop Manawatu District Council's open spaces and property portfolio.
We are seeking an energetic leader who will:
• Successfully manage and enhance the Manawatu District's Property, Cemeteries, Halls, Parks, Reserves and Public Conveniences portfolio
• Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships with the community who use these assets
• Lead a team of professionals who take pride in delivering services to the community
• Successfully contribute to the development and implementation of Council strategy and policy
A relevant qualification with experience in property or open spaces management, or in managing a significant project portfolio is required.
Strong relationship management skills are essential for this position.
This position is based at our Feilding office in the heart of our Manawatu District. You will be working together with the competent team to provide high standard facilities and parks for our community to utilise and experience.
The salary range for this role is $104,500 to $141,300 (Mid-point is $123k) determined by the experience you bring. We also offer a range of staff benefits, including 5 weeks' annual leave for all staff.
